Employment & Livelihood Panel

As part of UK Disability History Month, join us for a panel discussion centered on this year’s theme of Employment & Livelihood. This panel brings together experts from Brunel’s Placement & Careers Centre, HR specialists, and the chairs of the Disabled Staff Network and Neurodivergent Staff Network for an insightful conversation about navigating the workplace as a disabled or neurodivergent individual.

In this session, you’ll gain valuable insights into reasonable adjustments you can request during the recruitment process and once you’re employed. Our panelists will discuss practical strategies for securing accommodations, share guidance on navigating potential barriers, and highlight available resources to help you thrive in your chosen career. The discussion will also cover how allies and employers can contribute to creating truly inclusive workplaces.

• This venue has accessible restrooms for disabled Students, as well as gender neutral toilets available in the same building/area.
