Windsor Long Walk Run - Meet at locos for 13:00
If you’re looking for a scenic mid-length run, the beautiful Windsor Long Walk offers the perfect setting. This iconic straight avenue stretches from Windsor Castle through Windsor Great Park, surrounded by tree-lined paths and open parkland.
We’ll start near Windsor Castle and head down the Long Walk, where you’ll enjoy incredible views of the castle behind you and the Copper Horse statue in the distance. The route is ideal for runners of all abilities, and you can choose to run the full distance or turn back earlier depending on what suits you best.
Whether you’re chasing a faster pace or just enjoying a relaxed run with friends, the wide paths and stunning surroundings make this a memorable route for everyone.
What is Active@Brunel?
Active@Brunel is all about getting moving, meeting new people, and having fun while trying something new. It’s open to everyone, regardless of ability or fitness level, and there’s no pressure to commit every week. Whether you’re looking to try a new activity or just want a casual way to stay active, our sessions are a great way to get involved and enjoy some downtime with friends.
All you need is comfortable running clothing and suitable trainers. Just turn up ready to run!
What to Expect
The Windsor Long Walk is a wide, well-maintained pathway suitable for walkers and runners.
Restroom facilities are available in the Windsor town area before and after the run.
First Aiders, including Mental Health First Aiders, will be present throughout the session.
Need a break? Feel free to rest at any time during the run.
