PPSCN PRESENTS: PARENT MENTAL HEALTH DAY
In recognition of Parent Mental Health Day, this workshop is dedicated to supporting and improving the mental health and wellbeing of student parents and carers.
Returning to university while pregnant or parenting can be challenging — balancing academic demands, caring responsibilities, identity changes and mental load. This Parent Mental Health Day workshop creates a supportive space to pause, reflect and focus on your wellbeing.

Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm

Delivered in partnership with Maternity Shift, this interactive session is designed specifically for pregnant students, parents and carers. The workshop will explore emotional wellbeing, managing mental load, navigating transitions, and rebuilding confidence while juggling study and caring responsibilities. There will also be opportunities for peer connection and shared learning in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment.
Our aim is to shine a light on parent mental health and to equip student parents with practical tools, support and reassurance to help them feel more grounded, connected and supported throughout their university journey.
✨ Refreshments will be provided.
