Freshers Fair

Welcome! Get ready for an exciting day of exploration, discovery and connection to help you settle.

Our Freshers Fair is your chance to dive into everything we have to offer. You’ll get to explore a wide range of student groups from sports clubs to common interest groups - with many on offer you're bound to find something that interests you! You’ll also meet new brands that will ride the uni wave alongside you - and there may even be a freebie or two! 

It's FREE to attend, if you are a student with accessibility needs, we just ask that you secure your FREE ticket if you will be attending our quiet hour between 11:00-12pm. Only those who have secured a FREE ticket will be admitted to minimise numbers inside our Freshers Fair during this time.

You’ll notice that native handle our event bookings, and they also power our Freshers Fair. Below, you can choose to opt-in to hear from native, who will email you from time to time with helpful content, discounts and more to help you get the most out of uni life.

Accessibility statements

 This Venue is Wheelchair accessible, with ramps, elevators, level ground or accessible pathways.

 This Venue has accessible restrooms for Disabled Students, as well as Gender Neutral toilets available in the same building/area. 

 This Event has a dedicated Quiet / Safe space for those who need a break from sensory stimulation - this can be found at the welcome village near the Quad. 

 Please expect loud music or noises at this event, with the exception of during our quiet hour. 

 Written materials needed for this event can be provided in larger text or other accessible formats, if requested in advance. 

 This event has First Aiders present, including Mental Health First Aiders. 

 Service animals are welcome to attend this event. 

 Companions and Aides can attend this event for free with Disabled students, please contact the Union in advance to arrange this in advance.
