A calendar of events for Black History Month 2024
Every October, the UK celebrates Black History Month. This year's theme is 'Reclaiming Narratives'. For this Black History Month, we are organising events that helps Black students reclaim narratives regarding Black history and Black people, brings awareness to Black historical figues and help Black students celebrate their identity.

Can I speak to someone about UBS events in-person?

Do I need to show my QR code to enter?
Yes, you will need to have a copy of the pass' QR code available to scan at the door of any allocated nightlife event.
Can I use my Freshers Pass to access an event past 11pm?
Your pass will still be active if you show up after 11pm, however, if we sell out after this point you may be denied access.
Am I guaranteed a spot at the event with a Freshers Pass?
You are only guaranteed a spot at the event if you arrive before 11pm. After this time your spot will be re-allocated to accommodate others who would like to obtain entry to the event.
Do I need to bring ID if I have a Freshers Pass?
Yes, you will still be required to bring physical copies of both your Brunel University London student ID and your Government issued ID.
