This is joint Movember and Disability History Month Event.

WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL

Movember meets UK Disability History Month with this action packed Wheelchair basketball taster session. This unique event is all about celebrating inclusion, raising awareness for men’s health, and supporting testicular cancer awareness—all while having fun on the court. Whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to take part and learn the ropes. As part of the event, we’ll also highlight the importance of Movember.

This Venue is Wheelchair accessible, with ramps, elevators, level ground or accessible pathways.

• This Venue has accessible restrooms for Disabled Students, as well as Gender Neutral toilets available in the same building/area.
• Seating is available at this event for those who are less able to stand or have mobility issues. 
• This Event has a dedicated Quiet / Safe space for those who need a break from sensory stimulation. 
• Service animals are welcome to attend this event. 
• Companions and Aides can attend this event for free with Disabled students, please contact the Union in advance to arrange this in advance.
