DODGEBALL

As part of #Balls4BallsWeek, we’re hosting an epic dodgeball battle—Students vs Staff—to raise awareness for Movember and testicular cancer! Get pumped for a legendary dodgeball face-off as fearless students go head-to-head (or ball-to-face!) with seasoned staff! This fun, high-energy event will pit students against staff from Brunel’s Pathway College, Student Union, Brunel Medical School, and even a few lecturers, all in the name of men’s health.This dodgeball showdown is about more than just dodging, ducking, and diving. It’s the ultimate clash of talent vs age —where youthful energy and reflexes take on the wisdom (and questionable flexibility) of our dedicated staff. Will students zip and dip their way to victory, or will staff bring their “strategic experience” (aka survival tactics) to dominate the court?

Why Participate?

All proceeds go to Movember, which is a global charity committed to changing the face of men’s health by raising awareness and funding programs focused on some of the biggest health challenges faced by men today. It’s an opportunity to highlight the importance of men’s health and encourage men to self-examine for testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is the second most common cancer in young men. 

Accessibility Information

• This Venue is Wheelchair accessible, with ramps, elevators, level ground or accessible pathways.
• This Venue has accessible restrooms for disabled students, as well as gender neutral toilets available in the same building/area.
• Seating is available at this event for those who are less able to stand or have mobility issues. 
• This Event has a dedicated Quiet / Safe space for those who need a break from sensory stimulation. 
• Companions and Aides can attend this event for free with disabled students, please contact the Union in advance to arrange this in advance.
