Health & Safety
Your wellbeing is our priority. All sessions are led by coaches to ensure a safe and supportive environment. We ask that students wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity, stay hydrated, and follow any instructions from session leaders. If you have any medical conditions or injuries, please inform the coach before taking part.
Accessibility at Our Team Brunel Taster Sessions
We want our Taster Sessions to be a space where everyone feels welcome and included. If you have any accessibility needs, we’re here to support you. Just let us know how we can help.
What to Expect
• The university sports facilities are fully accessible, with step-free access.
• Accessible restrooms are available for Disabled Students. Gender neutral toilets are also in the sports facilities.
• First Aiders, including Mental Health First Aiders, will be present in the sports facilities throughout the sessions.
• If you need to take a break, feel free to recharge at any time. Both sports halls have seating areas, and the sports park pavilion has plenty of chairs and space to relax.
Additional Support
• Got a service animal? They’re welcome at all sessions.
• We aim to make our sessions as accessible as possible. If there’s anything we can do to improve your experience, such as providing adaptive equipment, reach out ahead of time and we’ll work with you to make sure everything is ready.
• Attending a session off-site? If you have any questions about the facilities or equipment, let us know and we’ll contact the venue to get the details.
